Dreaming of intense emotions and an adrenaline rush surrounded by the Caucasus nature? We invite you to rafting on Georgia’s best mountain rivers ! Rafting on specialized inflatable rafts is suitable for beginners, families with children, and experienced adventurers alike. We handle all the organization, professional equipment, and ensure 100% safety on the water.

Rafting difficulty categories (Choose your level)

• Categories I–II (Easy and Fast Rivers): Calm or moderate current, easy maneuvering. Ideal for first-timers, families with children, and those looking for a relaxing holiday (Kura River near Mtskheta, Aragvi River in summer) .

• Category III (Intermediate Level – Thrill and Splash!): Vigorous current, small rapids, holes, and whirlpools. Maneuvering under the guidance of a guide is required. After the rafting, everyone emerges wet from head to toe! (Aragvi, Kura, Rioni) .

• Categories IV–V (For experienced rafters): Powerful currents, large rapids, boulders, and stoppers. A true extreme and a test of endurance (Rioni, Tskhenistskali, and Inguri rivers) .

• Category VI: Extreme level of increased risk for professionals only.

Full safety and equipment

Guest safety is our top priority. Before each descent, a mandatory briefing is held (covering paddling techniques, boarding the boat, and what to do if you fall into the water).

The price of the rafting always includes:

• A professional guide-instructor on each raft

• Certified life jacket and safety helmet

• Special wetsuits and shoes (upon request/weather)

Popular routes and locations

1. Aragvi River — Pasanauri (Mtiuleti)

• Distance from Tbilisi: ~80 km.

• Difficulty: May 15 – June 15 (category III) | June 15 – September (category II–III).

• Descent: 13–15 km (~1.5 hours on water).

• Season: From April 15 to October 15.

2. Aragvi River — Pshavi (Magaroskari)

• Distance from Tbilisi: ~75 km.

• Difficulty: May 15 – June 15 (category III) | June 15 – September (category II).

• Descent: 15–17 km (~1.45 hours on water).

• Season: From April 15 to October 15.

3. Kura River – Borjomi Valley (Chitakhevi)

• Format: 1 or 2 days (with overnight stay in a tent camp).

• Distance from Tbilisi: ~150 km.

• Difficulty: May 15 – June 15 (III–IV category) | June 15 – September (II–III category).

• Descent: 8–10 km (~1.30 hours on water).

• Season: From April 15 to September 15.

4. The Kura River – Legendary Vardzia

• Format: 1 or 2 days (overnight in tents).

• Difficulty: May 15 – June 15 (II–IV category) | June 15 – September (II–III category).

• Descent: 30 km (~3.15 hours on water).

5. River Rioni — Racha (Oni / Ambrolauri / Tvishi)

• Format: 1 or 2 days.

• Difficulty: May 15 – June 15 (IV–V category) | June 15 – September (III–IV category).

• Descent: Tvishi Gorge (12 km) or Oni-Ambrolauri section (30 km / ~3 hours on water).

• Season: From May 1 to November 1.

What is included in the price

• Transfer: All transport along the route by business-class Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibus (with air conditioning) .

• Equipment: Rental of rafts, paddles, life jackets and helmets.
