Route and main locations

• Rabati Fortress (Akhaltsikhe): Visit this large 9th-century historical complex (formerly Lomsia). You’ll stroll through the completely reconstructed citadel, where Christian and Eastern architectural traditions intertwine.

• Vardzia Cave Monastery: An outstanding monument of Georgia’s Golden Age (12th–13th centuries). The 900-meter route along the Kura River includes up to 600 cave chambers: churches, chapels, residential cells, secret passages, an ancient aqueduct, and libraries, carved directly into the tuff wall of Mount Erusheti to a height of 8 stories.

• Borjomi Resort: A walk through the picturesque Borjomi Central Park in the Caucasus Mountains. You’ll taste world-famous Borjomi mineral water directly from a natural mineral spring.

• Return to Tbilisi: Comfortable journey back with stops at observation platforms.
