Paragliding is one of the most exciting and safe ways to experience an unforgettable adrenaline rush! Unlike hang gliding, paragliding is portable, and thanks to the tandem format, you don’t need any special skills—an experienced pilot instructor guides you through the entire process.

Tandem Flight: A Wing for Two

Tandem flights utilize an extended wing with increased lifting capacity. The instructor and passenger are securely fastened in separate harnesses (the passenger sits in front, and the pilot sits immediately behind).

• Complete control and comfort: During your flight, the pilot will explain the basics of paragliding. If the weather permits and you’re willing, the instructor will even let you take the controls for a few minutes!
• Aerial photography to remember: Don’t forget to bring an action camera or phone—you’ll want to cherish this experience and the cosmic views of the mountains forever.
• Duration: Average time in the air is about 20-30 minutes (depending on thermals and weather conditions).

Popular flight locations

• Alpine Gudauri (Cross Pass): Georgia’s most famous paragliding location. Flights take place at an altitude of over 2,000 meters above the picturesque gorges and snow-capped peaks of the Caucasus Mountains.
• Tbilisi Sea (Northeast of Tbilisi): A breathtaking dynamic flight overlooking the vast expanse of the Tbilisi Reservoir and the capital’s panorama.
• Location near the city of Rustavi: An excellent site for flights on flat terrain using towing systems and winches.

Safety first

Flights are conducted only by internationally certified pilots. A brief briefing is given before each flight, and all participants are provided with personal safety equipment and protective helmets.
